They won’t be allowed in the store. They check if you have an Amazon account.

Even Chicago has had those transponder toll booths for years.

moderate skill job? It’s a low skill job that is being automated. This is just the beginning ... more automation on the way.

“I avoid self-checkout like the COVID-19.”

I love self checkout. Check out in a quarter of the time or less than waiting in line.

They have cameras. You drive on a toll road without a transponder, it snaps a picture of your license plate.

You get the bill in the mail.

So how do you know when a woman has the “hots” for you? What does she say or do? I’m serious. I’d like to know what cues I’ve been missing.

It's happening all over, people better learn to code.

No need, since I already know how to farm.

What if a person without an account shows up?

They contact The Cochran Firm and file a discrimination suit.

Lines have been eliminated. In the 80s, I hated waiting in line at DMV to pay my registration fees and get my drivers license renewed.

Today, it can be done in a few minutes all online and no waiting.

Yes I get those from Kentucky on the Ohio River bridge at Louisville. The darn cameras work really well, I’ve gotten them in bad weather and with working to get the car behind really close.

I went through the Amazon Go store last summer in Seattle. You are allowed in through a turnstile after scanning your Amazon ID. My son scanned his card 4 times for our party to enter. You literally just walk in and take things from shelves and walk right out the exit. There were no employees present. I grabbed a can of Diet Coke and it was only .60. Yes, everything was cheaper. When our party of 4 met back up outside my son checked an app on his iPhone to see what everyone bought. It was accurate. I know I picked up a few items just to read labels before returning items to shelves too!
It was awesome.

Our Walmart tested that system here but abandoned it.

The really good part about it was that the buggies had a special phone holder that held the phone and the shopping list. They did away with those holders when the system was abandoned. Now the phone slides through the cracks as it did before.

i actually liked to use the voluntary system. You select an item and then scan it with your phone. The phone has your credit card number and when through shopping, you point the phone at a check out stand and it records the transaction and pays for it. On your phone, you have a complete record of what yo bought.

A problem was that you could pick up an item and not scan it. I do not know how Walmart intended to get around that very obvious loophole.

I hope their Ribeye and New York steaks are inexpensive.
I was at Costco and the Premium cuts were $53 for 3 small steaks. The Choice were $45....

She is not very subtle...

—Starts talking to me every time...
—Stares at me, and then starts giggling nervously
—Touches me every time, on the shoulder, on the arms, for no reason...
—Gets very nervous when she is talking to me....
—Does not do this with other customers

Grab it and go. Your Amazon account gets charged after you leave the store with your purchases.

And when the door opens to let you in, if someone else follows you in, who does not have an Amazon account, and he grabs a bunch of stuff and leaves, what happens?

If you wrap the goods in tin foil could you walk out with “free” stuff?
