The bills include a prohibition on “ghost guns” by requiring self-manufactured firearms to have engraved serial numbers, establishing a statewide ammunition database, requiring manufacturers to include GPS technology on guns and establishing funding to develop personalized handgun technology for all firearms.

Also, a ammunition "database" see below link: http://www.gunpoliticsny.com/

With radical Marxist Governor Cuomo and control of both houses of the state government - this is scary. With no functional NYS Republican Party to oppose this and recruit candidates it appears NYS is going full blown sh*t hole state.

If gun owners voted for gun rights candidates at the state level, Cumo would not get elected.

These are the low level elected officials that come out of the “city”. Upstate needs to separate.

If these people were as concerned about running their state as they are with infringing on rights NY may have hope, but alas they are not.

Thanks Felix. This comes just in time to remind people of why they should never vote for Democrats.

Wonder why they want to disarm everyone but them? It surely can’t be because they love everyone and want to keep them safe? They certainly have no problems hacking a baby to death...the most defenseless one of all.

...The earlier bills also include a provision that would require gun owners to have at least $250,000 in liability insurance, money which would be used to compensate victims of gunfire...

The problem with this is that responsible gun owners are not the problem. I have a lot more than he states in liability insurance, but I have never shot anyone and if I ever do, they are not going to be a "victim" of gunfire -- they would be a perpetrator of a crime who was shot in self-defense.

It would be ridiculous to force me, or my insurance, to pay the costs for a criminal.
