People have been talking about the ground glass look on this these threads for some time.
I was supposed to go into surgery about 10 years ago but some foreign intern found a lump on my lung in the X-ray. So they canceled the surgery and I went to my primary doctor and he took an x-ray. He said the one from the hospital just had some kind of Shadow on it and there was nothing there.
Subsequent tests proved there was nothing there
I don’t know why I’m telling this story :-) it just hit me out of nowhere

there are numerous conditions that can cause the so-called ground-glass pattern to lung x-rays ... interstitial lung disease is one of the biggies ...
