Mayor Pete has a lot more practical experience on his resume, but Caliph Baraq was “black” which made him special to the media. And Pete doesn’t appear to have genius level talent like Axlegrease and Plouffy on the team.

In a previous election Joe was driven out because he got caught copying a British politician’s speech. So far the reaction has been pretty muted to Poofter Pete doing this.
We’ll see.
Pete is Vaporware. He is so thin on substance, he’s like a ghost. Even worse than 2007/2008 Obama.
Pete likes to wear his military service on his sleeve. I know, I’m not supposed to question his service. I’m supposed to say “thank you for your service” and move on, but I have a few questions.
Pete has repeatedly stated that his job in Afghanistan was “a glorified uber driver”. How does a Navy LT (that’s an O-3 for y’all non-Navy folks, like a Capt in the Army or AF) end up as an “UBER driver”, driving people around as a job. He was supposed to be an “Intelligence Officer”, but ends up a driver? I was tasked with sending maybe 75 guys to Iraq and Afghanistan as 1 year “Individual Augments” over the years, and more than a few were tasked as drivers (mostly for convoys), while others worked as security, detainee processing, communications, network maintenance, C-RAM, drone operations, armorers, intel, etc. The only ones assigned as drivers were Junior Enlisted, E-4 and below, occasionally E-5. Junior Officers were assigned administrative positions, logistics or intelligence centers, or leadership for above listed enlisted guys.
Now I could be wrong. Maybe there were some commands that would be fine with assigning an O-3 Intelligence Officer as a driver. In my 30 years in the USN, I have NEVER met an LT that would accept such a job. Not one. We’re not talking “Hey LT, a VIP is coming in, can you pick him up and bring him to see the Admiral”, but a primary duty. Every day. Assigning an LT or ANY commissioned officer as a driver is a big red flag, as is an LT accepting such treatment, and begs one to question his competence as an Officer.
