It’s been a long time since I had the flu, but I remember it vividly. I’m going to go, sooner rather than later, but going via the flu is not high on my list of options.
Drowning in my own fluids during a cytokine storm was not how I pictured my demise. Perhaps the very worst way I can think of checking out. I suffered sever asthma as a kid, almost died a few times. I had a bout of viral pneumonia a dozen years ago that really took me down. I though I was past that and now the chicoms might get me because they had to play with their little bugs.
I must have some kind of flu bug.
Just enough to make me miserable and weak at times. Aches, chills, whatnot.
I had the flu a couple of years ago. Thought I would die. Sick in bed for 3 months. Took 3 courses of antibiotics and steroids. Took almost a year to get over the cough, and to get strong again. Thought I never would.
But the Corona Virus hits mainly elderly Chinese men who have been heavy smokers for years. Least likely to get it = Caucasian women. Caucasian men are next group of least likely. Most likely Chinese men. Then Women.
