Correct, yes.

Issue though is it really doesn’t matter.
Federal spending is already about 50% over revenue.
We’re already spending at an untenable pace, and whatever Progressives want to spend in addition is even more ... and a communist like Bernie just doesn’t care what spending is, they’re just going to plow ahead toward Utopia until the system crashes & burns. Bernie gave an answer because he was goaded into one; his follow-up amounted to “I really don’t care how much anything costs.”
