It's really a shame, because FR would probably have about 4 times more regular posters today if they hadn't been run out of here back in the mid-2000s.

Trump greatest gift so far is identifying those who worked hard to destroy the GOP and nearly succeeded.
If Jennifer Rubin and Rick Wilson are willing to vote for Sanders, there is nothing stopping them from formally changing to Democrat after Trump’s re-election. Chasing them out is how we get all those America-loving old school Democrats plus a lot of politically disaffected people IN. These troublemakers bring more agida than votes to whatever party they associate with.

If they really had principles, they’ve vote 3rd party or do a right-in. Heck, I think I remember Mitt saying that’s what he plans to do. Bernie and the stuff he believes in should, in theory, be a bigger threat to them than Trump.
The problem is, they grifted into a situation where they have no influence. Tactically, the best thing in belonging to a political party, you get a bit of a say, you get a seat at the table. Pleasing nobody hosts on MSNBC or CNN doesn’t matter a flip these days.
