Well, I worked at Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Power Lab under the auspices of Naval Reactors, back in the 70’s.

Westinghouse-designed reactors were the best. They powered the Nautilus, the Enterprise (both of them) and many military and civilian reactors.

I hope this deal goes through.

Westinghouse AP1000 plants are the inherently safe design. IOW the plant can go dark (no power), and by means of it’s natural convection design & with no operator intervention, the reactor will immediately shutdown & the plant will slowly cooldown.

Proven design on US subs for 30+years.

from 30,000 feet, it seems like a winwinwinwin.

more US business, needed energy for India, less pollution, less dependance on China trade.

Westinghouse was a brilliant guy...better than Edison, just more humble.
