Try to imagine the scene in Milwaukee if Sanders arrives with a majority of the elected delegates but not enough to secure the nomination on the first ballot. Now enter all the “superdelegates” eligible to vote on the second ballot, Bloomberg is nominated and Sanders loses.
Try to imagine if they nominate Sanders, and basically kick black voters in the teeth.

These endorsements mean something. They are coming from superdelegates - representatives and governors. So Bloomberg is getting more than just friendly nods. Hes getting second ballot votes.
