Abbott says top Malaysian leaders suspected pilot of MH370

PERTH, Australia -- Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has said the “top levels” of the Malaysian government long suspected that the disappearance of a plane almost six years ago was a mass murder-suicide by the pilot.

Abbott was prime minister when Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 carrying 239 people vanished on March 8, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

Australia, working on Malaysia’s behalf, coordinated what became the largest search in aviation history, but it failed to find the plane before being ended in 2017.

Speaking in a Sky News documentary to air on Wednesday and Thursday, Abbott said high-ranking Malaysian officials believed veteran pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah deliberately downed the jet.

“My very clear understanding, from the very top levels of the Malaysian government is that from very, very early on, they thought it was murder-suicide by the pilot,” said Abbott, who was Australia’s prime minster from 2013-15.

“I’m not going to say who said what to whom, but let me reiterate, I want to be absolutely crystal clear, it was understood at the highest levels that this was almost certainly murder-suicide by the pilot.”

At some point (I think the end of the second month), there was a complete up and down survey of the passengers and crew. It was a very exhausting review and basically came down to say that the only two people on board who had the knowledge and capability to conduct the basic act required...were the pilot and co-pilot. For the co-pilot, there was not a single detail in his past year to suggest that he had mental anguish on his mind. They couldn’t say that for the pilot.

Sudden Jihad Syndrome made the most sense then, and it still does.

Murder-suicide in that crowd makes a lot of sense - the tricky part was finding the black hole to fly into. But I’m sure if we give him enough time Don Lemon will figure that part out for us.

Once the basic facts came out, who didn’t think it was murder-suicide by the pilot? Only mysteries are motive and whether the airline knew enough in advance to stop him from flying.

the disappearance of a plane almost six years ago was a mass murder-suicide by the pilot

That would be my guess, dive bombing that plane into the sea in the middle of nowhere would make it hard to find anything left of it.

Interested party Elvin Anderson said: “If you want to know the truth about what happened to the plane then you should start by looking at the dozens of reports that were made by the residents of Kuda Huvadhoo at around 6:15am, several hours before MH370 was reported to be missing.

“Decide for yourself. Look at a map. Calculate how much fuel it had, spot of last contact, airports it could land, and how long it would take to reach that location.

“You would see there was just enough to reach Diego Garcia, US Naval Island just south of the Maldives.

“If the plane went anywhere else, their military radar would have picked it up.

The plane was seen by many people. If not MH 370, then what plane was it? Crickets.

Meanwhile, a bunch of idiots insisted it was pulled off by employees of a company who had people onboard.
These idiots chased Cyberliberty off FR because he worked for that company so in their eyes, “he must know something!!1!”
I miss him and Slippy, door is always open at the Undead Thread

The plane fell into a black hole.

I know this because Don Lemon, the smartest man on CNN, said so.

Before Abbott became Prime Minister he served under John Howard as the Health Minister. The Treasurer (and deputy Liberal leader) at the time was Peter Costello.

It’s funny that a government which had an Abbott and Costello as senior leaders was able to get net federal government debt to zero. Hell, the financial sector even worried that the bond market would be thrown into turmoil because the federal government would stop issuing bonds since they didn’t need to issue them.

Of course the conservative government got voted out and the left racked up hundreds of billions in new debt. The current conservative government might get the budget into surplus this year or next (world economy situation depending).
