Attorney General William Barr has told people close to him he’s considering quitting over President Trump's tweets about Justice Department cases, an administration official says.

Would Barr’s replacement enjoy Trump’s tweets about the DOJ? The answer is no......and you know this.

Most often these leaks have been true the past 3 years. Mattis, Kelly, etc. All leaked this garbage before eventually quitting.
Trump said today he knows who the leakers are, I am thinking this was DROPPED on one of these leakers to catch them in the act!!!

There are 258 days until November 3. Barr can leave after about 2 more months. Then POTUS can appoint an Acting AG that can serve until after the election.

AG is top law enforcement officer. The fact that Trump hires does not mean he is the top law enforcement officer.

I hope this is a case of deliberate fake news leaking, an interesting attempt to find more treacherous Deep State leakers.
But most likely: The Fake News Rat complex wants to create a perceived split between Barr and Trump so they can exclaim, “We told you so—Trump really IS a lawless dictator!!!”
The Constitution doesn’t require the AG to be a lawyer but Federal law effectively does. The AG cannot sign off on any legal proceedings in Federal court unless he’s a lawyer.
I’m being sincere, when I say that Trump should refrain from being a factor in prosecution cases from the DOJ.
