I call BS.

Me too. Trump's tweets provide a necessary political element, ensuring that the base is informed and stays on board so that Barr has the backing to do what he needs to do. Demoralize the base and the deepsters win and Barr might as well resign.

Barr knows that, but acting as though he is struggling to maintain independence is probably also a necessary part of the theater.

I cautiously defended Barr when he was first nominated.

A lot of idiots here claimed that he was a "career Swamp creature." Apparently they didn't know that he had been out of government for more than 25 years before he accepted the AG role.

The thing I've always liked about Barr is that he shares one important characteristic with his boss: Neither one of them needs the job they have right now.

It’s a Washington Post story so I’m thinking intentional disinformation to smoke out another leaker.

Trump said today that if he wants something to leak he knows who to say it to.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Trump doesn’t need more divas. He wants results now. The Resistance is trying to run out the clock hoping that Trump gets defeated and all of this goes away. A Dem AG will put an end to these investigations and start new ones against former President Trump.

Trump should declassify everything and let the chips fall where they may.

‘I’m actually, I guess, the chief law enforcement officer of the country. But I’ve chosen not to be involved. But he is a man of great integrity. But I could be involved if I wanted to be,’

Any US Attorney General seeking to extradite Julian Assange here, after nearly torturing him to death in the UK, should resign. It’s disgusting beyond words.

Thank you Mr. FATA$$ roly-poly bagpipes!

Most "chicken$hits" excuse themselves from doing their duty when times get tough and they're uncomfortable.

Run for the woodwork fatso.

Unfortunately, Joe Arpaio is too far along in the years for the job.

Lawyers seem to have their own Club/Society, taking the money for their billable hours while pretending to work for a particular client (US Taxpayers)...

*See; Mueller Investigation.

The DOJ should be run by other than a lawyer, though should know the law.

Again, a LEO.

He also said that most of the “leakers” were non-existent.

AP just might be #FakeNews. :)

I didn't say Mark Levin was stupid. I said he's an entertainer ... and I suspect he hasn't worked a serious job in the legal profession in years.

I used to think more highly of him until I heard him ranting on the radio one day about a specific application of tax law for foreign citizens. He was 100% wrong about it. I called him from my car and actually got through, and spent five minutes trying to educate him above the childish whining about how "unpatriotic" I was for daring to object to what he was saying. For a lawyer, he seemed awfully sure of himself over a matter where he was absolutely, unequivocally WRONG.

Like I said ... he may be a smart guy, but right now he's a circus clown with a law degree.

Exactly how could they use them? More bias in cases come from media. Never seen a “news” source charged with witness tampering.
