"Winner was arrested on June 3, 2017. The U.S. Department of Justice announced her arrest on June 5, shortly after The Intercept published an article describing Russian attempts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election by hacking a U.S. voting software supplier and sending spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before the November 8 election. The Intercept's story was based on a top-secret May 5, 2017, National Security Agency (NSA) document leaked to them anonymously."Intelligence report leak, arrest, potential role of The Intercept in her arrest and sentencing

Fat chance of clemency happening under Trump. She’s one winner he doesn’t care for.

The old rule of thumb still holds up pretty well.
Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time.
If you didn't grant yourself clemency by just taking a
pass on this sort of thing, why should anyone else?

While I think she is a skank, and doesnt deserve Shiite, the Hildebeast still walks free.

That’s true, but the fix to that is tossing the Hildabeast into federal prison, not trying to make it fair by letting this woman off.
I do expect this attorney to come up with some glossy comments along the lines of how unfair this is.
Nope.
This woman was treated fairly. Hillary wasn’t, on behalf of the American justice system.

Reality Winner? Sounds like more like a racehorse than a spy.

Whistleblower? She was a political operative who opposed Trump and tried to assist the coup.

Good catch. The gaslighting is so prevalent that it’s easy to miss the lies that are slipped into headlines like this one.

You can never take the sob stories Reality Loser trots out, at face value. I remember when this all broke, reading articles quoting her as being confident that she’d get leniency because she knows how to garner sympathy by crying and looking vulnerable. I’ll have to try to find the link. The bottom line is Reality Loser is a manipulative radical who had no business being entrusted with state secrets.

She wasn’t a whistleblower. As an employee of an NSA contractor, she took top secret information that she was not assigned, copied it, carried it out, and gave it to the press. Her actions possibly compromised our intelligence gathering concerning Russia.
She sounds like a talented nutjob, and she deserves every single second of her sentence.

How is it she’s a “whistleblower “? She used her security clearance to go snooping around for something she was not involved in to share with a reporter.

She stole classified documents, which were not verified, and turned them over to coup plotters. Needs to serve her time.

It bothers me when people in positions of power abuse that power.
Thousands of people would be honored to hold a position in the Senate or House. Then some of these wicked people get them and become despicable creatures.
I have very little patience for that.
