Over a quarter of a sample of HIV-positive gay and bisexual men in a relationship with an HIV-negative partner did not have an accurate understanding of their current viral load, investigators from the United States report in the online edition of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes. Laboratory viral load results showed that a fifth of men who believed that they were undetectable currently had a detectable viral load, and that 7.5% were virally suppressed when they thought their viral load was detectable.
Perhaps significantly, the participants were initially recruited to take part in an adherence intervention and 48% of HIV-positive men had less than perfect adherence to their antiretroviral medication in the previous month.

I recall the thread included the Chinese having possibly, (in theory), borrowed or used HIV code itself, and the ability to spread a specific strain of corona virus (as delivery mechanism) without detection, while causing the immune system to nearly shut down long term. Meaning, this could be a longer term wipe out, similar TO AIDS, only airborne.
Regardless if they did it or not, as we have already seen, quarantine and large scale airborne chemical disinfectant may have been the only options available early on.
Interesting how they brought in thousands of workers, (some who will die), to build massive quarantine jail like facilities, and have also been “open air” spraying aerosal “disinfectant” all over the place.
We already lose 60-80 thousand people per hear to various influenza viruses. But generally, our immune systems react. If you do have an airborne virus which shuts down the immune system, (a real bio weapon)... Yah that’s not good.
I agree, if this gets going on in poor high rensity population west of China, things could get real interesting.
Kind of like the number of Arabs and Muslims who all of a sudden monopolized many parts of the air travel industry after 9/11. Including many in TSA.

While I am at it, how about how there are Middle Eastern/Kabob take-out restaurants adjacent to many of our Armed Forces recruiting offices, and Islamic “community centers” near many of our bases across the U.S.

I have the same issue wrapping my head around sums of money like that.
The virus mutating and becoming adapted to the drugs is often the result of someone missing doses.
