I had to postpone a get together this week with my best friend. Her son is in college in Western MD and was taken to the hospital for dehydration from influenza (and yes, he tested positive for influenza). She said the entire college is like a giant influenza petri dish right now. I talked with her yesterday and she said he was out of the hospital and back at his dorm, but if he wasn’t feeling any better, she and her husband were going to bring him home today.
No flu shot here.
