I do not fear a Trump vs. Sanders General Election (GE). However, what worries me is the high likelihood that, if nominated, Sanders’ health problems will basically guarantee that he will keel over during the GE. [The dude has already had a campaign heart attack, during the lowest-stress period of the primary run.] So, the realistic scenario that I see is Sanders keeling over at some point during the GE and the Dems being able to select a replacement candidate. This could be devastating given campaign finance contribution limits, depending; also, the sheer limitation of a reduced time-period could prevent the Trump Campaign from adequately informing voters of what a Trump opponent actually stands for. The following article may be useful in thinking about the possibilities. (Go to the last listed scenario, closer to the end.) https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2016/09/14/what-happens-if-a-u-s-presidential-candidate-withdraws-or-dies-before-the-election-is-over/
You’re WORRIED about someone having to step in late in the game?
That’s like a boxer taking a fight on 6 weeks notice.
Worried about Trump being able to define and defend against the replacement?
I don’t see the issue.
If it happens post the link again then and then I will definitely be more interested :)
...and when the Rats realize this Bernie had best hire a food taster.
Wouldnt put it past the Dems to Breitbart Bernie during the GE and have their savior Hitlery installed.
Imagine the drop in life expectancy for any democrat presidential candidate who gets stuck with Hillary as his VP.
