Nobody “rides the middle” this election, Joe. I think the voters in WVA know who you are & what you are.

This is what “pandering Joe” looks like.

47/48 votes were never going to remove anyone from office. Everyone knew that. It was a meaningless vote.

Manchin s vote surprised me...I can’t imagine what pressure the Dems putnon him to get him to vote to convict.

My guess is once they found out Romney was going to turn they went all in on him. Had Romney not turned my suspicion is he would not have voted to convict.

He knows that vote effectively ends any shot of him winning another statewide race in WV. His electorate will not forgive or forget by 2024z

I uncharacteristically checked out the video. Normally i would rather read a transcript. I wound up watching it to the end. It is illuminating and reinforcing.

True, but with mittens voting to convict on one of the charges the dims can holler "bipartisan" effort to convict.

IF munchkin had guts he could have voted not to convict thereby nullifying the dims claims on "bipartisanship".

Joe might ponder the old adage look before you leap. WVA’s finances is heavy dependent on coal and the democrats would like to kill off coal

Too late... Trump won’t be endorsing him, will he?

All true. He is a politician through and through. Not up for reelection for another 5 years.

Manchin probably caught hell from his West Virginia constituents when he betrayed them and voted to impeach. He thought they would forget since his reelection is 4 years away. He learned they won’t. Now the dirtbag is saying he will endorse Trump so he can keep his paycheck

WVA needs to vote this rat out.

Are you dummies going to listen to your unions or do you care for your Constitution more?

Warning to West Virginia: Look at what’s happening in Virginia once Democrats took control and learn before it’s too late.

I’m curious what the penalty was for a Democrat for voting to acquit
