Attorney General William Barr has agreed to testify before the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee at the end of March after rebuffing requests to appear before the panel for the past year.
The deal came as Democrats, including Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, of Manhattan, had raised alarm this week over Barr’s interceding in the sentencing recommendation for former Trump political operative Roger Stone, who was convicted by special prosecutors in Washington, DC, last year and was facing up to nine years behind bars.
“We are writing to confirm your agreement to testify before the House Judiciary Committee on March 31, 2020,” Nadler and the 22 other Democratic members of the panel said in a letter to Barr on Wednesday.

What happened to Nadler’s emergency concern about his wife?
Perhaps his leaving the impeachment hearings to be by her side was nothing more than grandstanding.
Why wait until March 31? This should be front-burner stuff.

That they keep sending Nadless the hut back to dc to represent them is quite telling of the fools voting in Manhattan. Used to be some nice people there.

Barr can take care of himself — as long as he doesn’t allow the Democrats to talk over him.
Well Nadler made it back to the closing arguments in time to run past Schiff and grab the podium. LOL
After seeing and hearing Schiff’s and Nadler’s performance in the House hearings and at the Senate “trial”, I’m sure Barr thought, “Hell yeah, I’m gonna enjoy this!”
Schiff and Nadler are going to need Kevlar underwear; I suspect Barr is going to rip them a new one.
Barr had better bring a protection squad. It’s not out of the question for Pelosi to order the Sergeant-at-Arms to arrest him for “crimes.”
They need time to line up and coach their fake accusers.
I’m starting to pop my corn now so as to be ready.
