FRBs are the RF noise left behind by an enormous release of energy at a great distance. Probably a teenager letting loose on the warp drive in a deserted part of the universe. We just happened to be bore-sighted on his exhaust axis.

So these originated long before Adam and Eve walked our earth.
I would find interesting to see what places in space are dated like 4000 to 6000 light years ago. Time wise corresponding with God’s creation of man.

Yes, because no naturally occurring physical phenomena ever occur at regular cycles .. What if there is a continuously emitting celestial body that is blocked by other orbiting celestial bodies almost continuously - except for a small period every 16 days?

I think Wal-mart was on mars back then...
To: Oldeconomybuyer
On-Off every 16 days is a rather crude modulation scheme.

If the stuff is coming at us from “fast rotating bodies such as neutron stars and black holes” then why aren’t they constant signals?
Do the neutron stars and black holes turn on and off? Do they stop rapidly rotating? Do they hop around and shoot their signals at other places in the galactic map?

Also doubt earth days have anything to do with the cycle
Thats just our perspective getting in the way.

Haven’t we learned anything? And that’s how the film ALIEN started. Nostromo’s crew taken out of hypersleep because Mother (the ship’s computer) came across the distress call on LV-426...

Ut oh, it’s re-broadcasts of Air America Radio.
Obviously not friendly.
