Well, I seldom go to.movies so.am.not familiar with the movies which are nominated, and also don’t know who some of today’s so called Hollywood stars are.
So for me, I’m.not going to be on the edge of my seat, eager to watch and see which movie I never saw beats out another movie I never saw, starring people I don’t know of.
No decent person wants to watch such a sordid Circle Jerk.
As long as the lefties own the awards the audience will continue to decline. When the industry somehow makes its way back to being entertaining it may be worth watching. Besides that, it is a great alternative to sleeping pills.

I find it odd that a foreign language film won Best Picture. Did they do away with Best Foreign Language Film category? They wonder why people don’t watch... They purposefully choose the bizarre or cult films to nominate, I believe. They are mocking the public.

Whatever. The Oscars is the biggest annual gathering of flakes outside of the supermarket cereal aisle.
The whole idea of actors honoring actors, well, is there another industry that pats itself on the back every other week like these people are compelled to?

“IF” these people loved our nation and didn’t hate almost everything in it except themselves, just maybe I’d find it nice to watch people I could respect get awards.

My wife used to work as a costume designer for professional theater, so I was surprised when she said last night she wanted to watch anything but the Oscars.
We ended up catching up on the past few weeks before of Gold Rush. Parker Schnabel is having a really good season, and Tony Beets is having a rough year.
