China's Communist Party has infiltrated various levels of America's infrastructure and is working to destroy the values of the United States, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a speech Saturday, while also warning state governors to be wary of China's infiltration.
“We can’t ignore China’s actions and strategic intentions," he said while addressing the National Governors Association winter meeting. "The Chinese government has been methodical in the way it's analyzed our system... it's assessed our vulnerabilities and it's decided to exploit our freedoms, to gain an advantage over us at the federal level, the state level and the local level."
“Competition with China is happening. It’s happening in your state," Pompeo added. "In fact, I'd be surprised if most of you in the audience had not been lobbied by the Chinese Communist Party directly."
He said groups loyal to communist China are operating out in the open in Virginia, Minnesota, Florida and dozens of other states all around the country. Other Chinese groups, however, practice their nefarious actions in the shadows in an attempt to exercise influence over U.S. citizens and lawmakers.
Pompeo cited a letter from a diplomat at the Chinese Consul in New York to the speaker of an unnamed state legislature, advising that U.S. officials refrain from independent interaction with Taiwan.
“You add a diplomat from China, assigned here to the United States, a representative of the Chinese Communist Party, in New York City, sending a letter urging that an American elected official shouldn’t exercise his right to freedom of speech," he explained.
The secretary said this isn't an uncommon event and that Chinese officials based in the U.S. are actively seeking to sow seeds of chaos at the state and local level -- specifically in the realm of education on college campuses and K-12 classrooms.

Uh the elephant in the room is from Mexico. They are draining our economy, healthcare systems and school systems. We are being invaded by these parasites.
Chinese students really have no choice if the Chinese Communist party sees them go into a field of work where they’re interested in stealing information. They will offer payment, and when this doesn’t work they think nothing of threatening their families back home.

Like I said; the Chinese play the long game. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out they have been using the dems for 50, even 100, years as their pawns in this mental warfare.
The Chinese and other cultures understand 100, 200, even 300 years is really just a blink of an eye from the perspective of history. Europeans should understand this because their history is long and rich. America's history is barely 400 years long; practically brand new in historic time. Perhaps the digital age where we all expect instant answers and action has dulled our sense of time. Muslims living in caves know they can simply wait out the westerners. The beauty of having little to lose is also the magic key to the ultimate freedom. They know they only need to survive as a group and pass on their ideology/cult religion which I personally consider a type of brainwashing/indoctrination not unlike what's happening in our k-16 schools today.
Not that long ago American and European families passed on trades and land from generation to generation. We seem to have lost that kind of long view somewhere along the line.
The infiltrators don’t have the same manners as Americans. Their culture is different. They think they are great actors and actresses and can fit in as various American types but one can spot them, and it’s even easier if they are posing as something they’re not.
Manners are something very subtle and you have to be born to them.

Guys in politics are even more prone to risk-taking than even people in showbiz. Some want to put the pedal to the metal - all the time. That was what Alexander’s venture to conquer the world was all about. That was, IMO, what motivated Caesar’s campaigns, whether against the Gauls or his fellow Romans. It certainly motivated Hitler - instead of piecemeal acquisitions followed by assimilation that might continue for generations after his death, he chose to find out for himself whether Germany was up to prevailing over every major power simultaneously, in his lifetime.
In the West, every ruler went forth and expanded against every other, until the devastation left at the WWII basically forced a retrenchment. Today, they want to make everyone live by their rules. Global warming, alphabet soup promotion, etc. China, though, like every country not in the West, including Russia, wants to rule the world in the old-fashioned way. By adding provinces.
So Xi Jinping will eventually take the machinery of government out for a spin re incorporating neighboring lands into the empire. But only when the odds aren’t too lop-sided. Japan made its move at Pearl when its economy was 1/9 the size of its American counterpart. China’s economy is currently 1/2 to 2/3 of the US. Xi Jinping’s move is coming.
