John Brennan: Rand Paul 'beneath contempt' for naming 'whistleblower' Senator fires back: 'Your shame alone should shut you up'

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., fired back at former CIA Director John Brennan for labeling him "beneath contempt" for reading the alleged impeachment whistleblower's name during the Senate trial.

Brennan wrote on Twitter than Paul "typifies the worst" of President Trump's "craven enablers."

"Any Senator excusing this dangerous behavior makes a mockery of public service," Brennan said. "History will revile all of you."

Paul reacted by pointing to Brennan's service under President Obama, including his role in using the dubious anti-Trump "dossier" to launch a counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign.

"You want to know what’s a mockery of public service, John? Killing 500 people outside of any judicial system," the senator wrote. "Drone strikes on American citizens. Approving British spies to present a dossier of lies paid for by Hillary. Lying to Congress. Your shame alone should shut you up."

Figures that obxxx would appoint a dumb ass to that position. Newflash jb. A whistleblower may be named but whoever he/she/them/they work for are prohibited from retaliation. If eric ciarmella ain't the guy, then he should prove that to those that make the claim.

Brennan decided to ignore the most important part of Rand Paul's statement -- when he said, in effect:

"I'm not exposing a whistleblower at all ... because I have received no information through any official government channels that tells me who this whistleblower is."

What does John Brennan know that Rand Paul DOESN'T know here?
