I think Hannity is right. The rank and file agent is not corrupted. The HQ office is separate and distinct. Where as all normal investigations are assigned to field offices, those with a political smell are siphoned off by the HQ office. The Hq office is top heavy with appointees and didn’t grow up in the agency. There are several retired agents around where I live and they are furious with Comey and his henchmen. In conversation, usually over beer and barbecue, they are not quiet about their disgust. Although I have never asked, I wouldn’t doubt some would be members of FR.
I’m sure the retired FBI neighbors are disgusted, but they are retired, so speaking out is not so much a danger as for those currently employed; however, they are a good barometer of what the ‘regular’ FBI folks think (I would imagine they still have friends/contacts in the Bureau, too).
The 7th floor (or whatever they call it where the muckety mucks have their offices) has just ruined the FBI’s reputation. Having worked for a corrupt division head at a large corporation before (I was two levels down) & been tarred & feathered by the same brush when the whole division was considered corrupt, while the truth was most of us were not, I’m sure morale is not great among the rank/file. I ended up having to quit because I could not lie/sign reports for this person any more & he was a horrible morale-killing supervisor - worked out well for me, but with long careers, maybe a job you love, pension considerations, etc. it’s a hard pill to swallow to have to leave.
Anyway, when Trump is re-elected, I think it will be ‘clean house’ time. Sure, the DemonRats may try to impeach him again, but if we can re-take the House too, that won’t be a concern. He’s got a lot of wind in his sails right now, despite the Coup Clutz Clan’s shenanigans (that would be Nasty Nan, Schitt & Nadless) & if re-elected, I think he’ll feel empowered to do housecleaning. If he’s got the House, it will be an Aegean Stables level cleaning. Fingers crossed & prayers up that I’m right.
Sorry. The leadership could not get away with what it does without a corrupt rank and file.
I wouldn't trust any FBI liar any further than I could throw them.
The real clue to the fact that the organization is completely corrupt is the fact that they won't allow recording devices during their 'interviews', because it would document their malfeasance.
