Not by the second week in November - which is functionally where we are in this outbreak if you compare timelines. IN the second week in November - 6 weeks into the season - there were 2000 cases of the flu and 3 deaths according to the CDC.
6 weeks into the CV outbreak - there are 31K cases (at least) and 638 deaths.
So - given the two timelines side by side - what do you think another 13 weeks will bring?
I did updates on the 2914 ebola outbreak on the thread linked below. Reality turned out to be way different than projections. Interesting to review and think about in respect to the current coronavirus outbreak.
