Mitch McConnell has been a warrior in the Senate getting President Trump's judges through.

The Senate does not have to bring it to a vote or vote to confirm but that is a separation of powers thing.

Speaking of Judges...notice which judge wasn’t present at the state of the union speech last evening?
No particular point at all.
It is interesting to note the disconnect here between judicial appointments and Senate confirmed executive branch appointments. The GOP Senate has been far less supportive of POTUS on executive branch appointments. Senator Graham famously threatened not to confirm a replacement for Sleepy Sessions. Romney lead the charge to sink Trump’s important Fed picks. Collins took umbrage at the outstanding Ratcliffe. Reportedly, he was “too mean” to Mueller for her taste.
All that leads me to suspect the judicial appointment are far more McConnell/GOPe judges than Trump judges. Only time will tell. Hoping for the best there.

Mitch quietly and calmly rocked the post-vote presser. One reporter said a certain question was asked and shut down by Mitch twice. Mitch asked him if he would like to be the third. Whup.
Let’s all move on.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) noted that he was “surprised and disappointed” by Romney’s decision, but indicated that he would not face a formal punishment.
“I think Senator Romney has been largely supportive of most everything we’ve tried to accomplish,” he told reporters shortly after the vote.
Asked how long Romney would be in the doghouse, McConnell laughed and added: “We don’t have any doghouses here. The most important vote is the next vote.”
That would be funny, but one or more of their ubiquitous felonies would be more serious.
How “teeing up” some military tribunals for a certain couple of attempted coup leaders, now that we beat these assholes at their game?
Great. Mr. President, can I come out of retirement to sit on these boards?
That’s what I’d love to see, especially on the Supreme Court, but since all courts are so politicized now there would be no chance of removal I’m afraid.
