He took a lot of flak from us - some of it justified - but he did a major-league stand-up here.

True enough.
And he could have been an even bigger pr*ck and allowed this farce to carry on even longer.
But he didn’t. And that’s all I’m saying - he did the right thing here.
All the rest, yes, you are correct.
I have been, and still remain, highly skeptical of Mitch McConnell.
That being said, I admire his stance both in moving judge nominations and his words and actions during this impeachment debacle.
He’s a used car salesman who sold me a good, reliable used car.
