Schiff warns that Trump could sell Alaska to Russia, if unchecked,
Fox News ^ | 2/4/2020 | Edmund DeMarche

Rep. Adam Schiff, the lead House impeachment manager, warned on Monday that if President Trump's dealings with Ukraine are not impeachable offenses, then nothing would stand in his way from attempting bolder power grabs -- going so far to claim Trump could use Alaska as a bargaining chip with "the Russians" for support in 2020.

(((SNIP)))

"If abuse of power is not impeachable ... Trump could offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election or decide to move to Mar-a-Lago permanently and let Jared Kushner run the country, delegating to him the decision whether to go to war," Schiff said. "Because those things are not necessarily criminal, this argument would allow that he could not be impeached for such abuses of power. Of course, this would be absurd. More than absurd, it would be dangerous."

If Schiff-for-brains actually said this, then that little bug-eyed bastard has officially jumped the shark.

Does that Nigerian prince who’s always trying to give me tens of thousands of dollars if I help him out with his bank problem know Schiff’s email address?

The real question is how much the USA would have to pay Japan for Japan to take Hawaii. (Except for the naval base). The place is not culturally part of the USA and NEVER should have been made a state. For example: Most places in the USA if they have bilingual signs, the signs are in Spanish and English. In Hawaii they’re in Japanese and English. The hotels and shops accept Japanese currency (no doubt at a healthy discount). A significant percentage of the population wants nothing more than to subsist on welfare. The Hawaiians try (frequently successfully) to kill development that would bring income to the place.

I bet Murkowski loved hearing that one.9

>Bingo, you have hit upon shifty’s tactic. He was attempting to play Murkowski like a fiddle.

I am an Alaskan, what shifty said naturally grabs our attention, use Alaska as a bargaining chip with Russia? It cetainly would grab weak kneed, easily swayed and wobbly Murkowski’s attention!

She is nothing like her father, Frank Murkowski, who was senator before her, a Reagan Republican.

The Democrats desperately needed her vote in this impeachment travesty, shifty thought he would play to weak wobbly Murkowski’s fears of what Trump might do with Alaska, but I’m glad to say his scheme didn’t work!

Maybe Trump could sell California to the Russians. He could use the money to buy Greenland from Denmark. Win Win, because the Russians would get all those California Dems like Pelosi, Schiff, Maxine Waters, etc. And we’d get a great new place to vacation.
