We have lost three wonderful people at our church the past two weeks. One was 90 and one who died yesterday, of cancer, was 45. I cannot remember the other one just at this minute, it slips my mind. But, life was good to the lady who lived 90, and my friend who passed yesterday at 45 would tell you his 45 years were good, even though he has battled this cancer the past three years or so. We have to make the best of the years we have, be it 90 or 45. We prayed for them while they suffered. We pray for their families now that they are gone. No need to worry about praying those the three that passed because each is in the absolute best place they can be, at home with the LORD for all eternity. We will see them again one day, on the day that the LORD Jesus Christ calls all of us home.

I got to meet Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart from the Make A Wish Foundation. It was one of the few positives.

My school bully was always after me. His name was Christian. I came back to visit school while on “homebound”. I was finally well enough. He walked up and said “I thought you were dead!” I looked at him and put my hand on his shoulder, and said “Christian, I have cancer. And it’s highly contagious.” He screamed and ran out of the class. It was hilarious.

I was the completely shy kid. I was the absolute introvert. I hated people and dealing with people. I got sick, and figured out quickly that I didn’t have enough time left to let that keep going. So, I forced myself to be different. Now, I’ve done things as much as hosting a conference call with over 1000 people listening to me teaching them. I’ve done presentations to crowds of 2000. I’ve done Karaoke over and over and even did stand-up comedy. Cancer was a horror. But, the things I did to change me, they were a blessing.

I have been late in this. Sorry, been dealing with my own health issues. I will keep Rush in my prayers.
