Can we afford to have shared power any longer, or do we need to essentially form a quasi-parliamentary government every election in order to get anything at all done in Washington? Nope. But also no to sharing power.
When enough democrats are defeated, and the news media goes bankrupt enough by losing viewers, we'll get plenty done.
For the good of America, Americans and ultimately, the World.

The best unity that could heal the country would be unity between a House GOP and House Senate to support Trump.

What is new about that? He could not work with them before the impeachment.

There can be no unity with anyone corrupt enough to be a part of this coup.

Under more normal circumstances, in a time when institutions had more credibility, an election would likely resolve most of the remaining tension, if not the bitterness. In such an environment, however, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders never would have been credible candidates for the presidency. The two questions now are:
- Given the results of his first term, is Donald Trump now considered a "credible candidate for the presidency?"
- Given the results of President Trump's first term, would Americans take another look at whom the consider to be "credible candidates for the presidency" in the future?

President Trump,
Please do not work with the democrats. If all they want is constant campaigning (which is all this impeachment was), then just campaign and find ways to get as many democrats out of office as possible and at all levels.
Thank you.

THAT absolutely needs to happen!
My grandfather was a lifelong Democrat (and a pretty prominent one at the local level) who walked away from the party in 1980 when he realized that a second Carter term would endanger the country and he had no choice but to support Reagan.
Most Dems at this point are brainwashed beyond salvage, but we can likely start peeling some away from the margins with that message.

no choice but to support Reagan.
My thought is we are not going to get a sizeable number of the dems, aside from possible black defections, to vote for Trump (more so than the GOP in general). Hopefully we can get enough of the current crop of crap to force some to just not vote. Every Dem who does not vote is like a vote for our side.
Their amalgamated party of disparate sub groups is not monolithic and in fact more open to petty bickering. Hopefully the bickering explodes like it did in 68. Trump has a great message: I love the US and patriots. He does not run on the give away platform. While the giveaway platform may sound great, it does not work unless everyone gets free stuff which financially cannot happen.

The only problem with that is that the people who are waiting in the wings to take their places are not like Trump. They are very dangerous people. I agree - the last thing we need are a bunch of rabid commies attempting to run the country. But here's the good thing - Bernie and his gang will be exposed and won't win. But it'll send a message to the Democrat Party that change MUST HAPPEN or they're toast.
They'll change.
In the mean time we can keep cleaning out the phony 'elites' in our party... dump the last of the RINO's and keep remaking our party since it'll be years before democrats get their act together...
