This just in: Jeb Bush is sleeping on the couch tonight.
I didn’t have to watch the halftime show with my kids or wife, so I was ok with it being as sexualized as it was. With the exception of a few moves where the camera was compelled to fixate on the naughty bits, it’s not much different than any pro cheerleader routine or carnivale display, and not any different than either artist’s normal stage performance.
I’m frankly hoping for a war to break out between the folks who say it’s empowering for a woman in her forties and another woman in her fifties to put on such a show, and the prudes who say it was demeaning to women to allow women put on such a show for a boatload of money and a bump in record sales.

Too bad I went to YouTube to see this horrific primetime porn, since I did not watch the pooperbowl. I skimmed thru it , as it was too gross to watch in real time.

I don’t think so since he had to stand on his tippy
toes to watch it. He probably had some difficulty
in getting a clear view.
The show wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good. It was completely lip synced, which makes it more of a dance routine or exercise workout. Secondly, I didn’t recognize any of the songs, but I admit I am out of the loop. It was pretty forgettable, rather than outrageous.
Let’s get back to having marching bands do Super Bowl halftime shows—as was done in Super Bowl I.
Honestly, it really wasn’t that bad, in fact for a Super Bowl Half Time show, it was pretty good.
Shakira and J Lo are both still attractive women, but neither is particularly young anymore - Shakira is in her early 40s and Lopez is 50. I could have done without seeing these two older ladies working stripper poles and grabbing their crotches in the middle of a game I wanted to see - kind of killed my appetite for nachos.
It was terrible.
I practiced my guitar in another room during the half-time show.

Well, not being a football fan, I forgot that it was Superbowl Sunday. I wondered why several of my neighbors had so many cars in front of their houses.
