A new Rasmussen poll shows black voter support for President Trump has doubled in the last year to an astonishing 42%.
In November, polls by both Rasmussen and Emerson showed Trump had a remarkable 34% approval rating among black voters, compared to the 8% he received from blacks in the 2016 election.
An analysis by the Washington Examiner in November showed the dramatic rise in support by blacks could make the difference in the 2020 election.

I am guardedly optimistic that at least a small fraction of those approving of Trump will translate into votes. Even a small movement is significant.
If either Bernie or Joe get the dem nomination, it will be two old white guys against each other (R vs D.) If black Dems are disgusted enough with that prospect, they may lean toward Trump, especially if the economy keeps roaring.

I have a conservative friend who is black and he told me that some blacks will vote Trump and simply keep it to themselves or share it with only a few close friends. He is very astute.

Black women do not like black men. Just look at all the black men marrying whites. Just watch The Color Purple. Black women hate Trump because he fights back like a black man. The black men are taking notice.

Black men must be supporting him in huge numbers.
They know him from TV and they probably love his macho and tough guy attitude.
The religious ones have probably Really started to see the difference between Trump and the dems.
All that being said, if he get 15 to 20 percent of the overall black vote, I’ll be thrilled.

I work with a good number of black co-workers. From what I can tell, 100% of them despise Trump.
You know about that too?
I know some puerto rican girls at work and they are dating or married to black guys.
They AND some black women tell me the black women hate it because it’s usually the guys that are actually worthwhile.
I dated a black girl once.
Forget bout it. 2 weeks. She was really, really hot. Who cares? They’re racist and nasty and have an AWFUL attitude.

The only “difference” will be between a landslide victory and a super landslide. Trump might turn the map red!
