the stock market is down precisely because it’s worried about the disruption of China’s annual export to the world of 2.5 TRILLION dollars worth of goods, including supply chain parts and electronic goods .... and your solution is to halt ALL of that instantly, thus precipitating the biggest economic meltdown in U.S. history ...

We are going to have at best a down turn.
At worst, a recession.
Supply chains are screwed now. Will be for months. And I am not sure if some will every recover.
That is not even factoring in the deaths. Lose enough key people, and things go dark for a long time.
