On CNN he told Wolf Blitzer that he had a commitment in the state Thursday and it was difficult to change his flight because the Super Bowl is on this weekend in Miami. Gee, you would think he would have access to a private jet to get to the big game.

I think he meant it was difficult to book a trip in/out of Miami over the weekend BECAUSE of the Superbowl, not that he was going to it.
