Any witnesses who senators agree to subpoena would first be deposed behind closed doors, with the Senate then deciding if they needed to be heard from publicly.

Why? Why not depose them publicly? Schiff's method means they would be deposed twice, once in private and once in public. Way too much!!

Let's vote on witnesses and acquit President Trump so we can get on with building the USA. This is ridiculous.

Sorry Schitt. The jury ( senate) doesn’t call witnesses to save a failed prosecution ( House) case. And besides you’d need some impeachable crimes. You’ve presented two charges. The Ukraine business was disproved in the House already. ( and would not have constituted an impeachable offense even if it had been proven true. ). And the second charge is ridiculous - charging a President because he sought judicial review of an illegal to begin with congressional demand? Get real, schitt. You’ve blown it. Big time !
