Rand Paul demands right to speak after Justice Roberts reportedly denies his impeachment question January 30, 2020 | Samantha Chang

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) says, if necessary, he’ll fight for his First Amendment rights after Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts censored a question he had posed at the impeachment trial.

The question was about the origins of the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, which automatically involves the left-wing “whistleblower.”

For the record, there’s no law preventing Senator Paul from identifying the “whistleblower,” whose anonymous complaint — based on third-hand hearsay — triggered the sham impeachment.

“Per source: Rand Paul is not being allowed to ask his question about the origins of the House impeachment. Unclear what the exact question is and what the issue is with it.”

During a break in the trial, Rand Paul was seen on the Senate floor “seeking assurances that he will not be blocked from asking a question,” Roll Call reported.

Paul said loudly in the chamber: “I don’t want to have to stand up to fight for recognition. If I have to fight for recognition, I will.”

In November 2019, Senator Paul urged the media to “do your job” by outing the anti-Trump whistleblower whose complaint launched the impeachment inquiry.

Since the Senate sets the rules, Robert’s ruling means the Senate rules contain something he can hang his hat on in making the ruling. The senate could vote to require an answer to the question. That the Senate has not means that at least four R Senators do not want an answer to that question.

I found it interesting that Schiff stated he has never talked to the whistle-blower.

From what I’ve read, that’s not the impression I had.

Now maybe what I read was speculation, but it sure made it seem like he had contact with the whistle-blower.

The so-called “whistle blower’s” name is in the public domain. If only because it has been revealed here on FReep and I think it was KT Mcfarland who named him on Fox about a month ago.

Even if Rand Paul’s question identified Ciaramella as the leaker (”whistleblower”, wink, wink, nod, nod), there are no grounds for Roberts to refuse to allow it. As has been reported numerous times, the whistleblower statute is to prevent retaliation, not identification.

And Paul’s question did not even purport to identify Ciaramella as the “whistleblower.”

As I see it, Roberts is making things up, like he did in his ObummerCare ruling. The refusal to read Paul’s question makes no sense, and is without grounding, but that apparently does not bother Roberts one iota.

Submit this question.

He’s corrupt. He screwed the country in 2012 with Obamacare. If it were up to me, I would have a deep forensic audit on his finances and a deep, through, FBI background check.

In a “wink, wink, to Roberts, McConnell stated (something like) the Senate will continue to respect the Chief Justice’s unique position as presiding over the trial.

In other words, Hey, John, don’t worry, I won’t let that flake Rand Paul ask the whistleblower question.

Chief Obama Injustice Roberts is a preposterous fraud. He’s an outrageous charlatan who should be tossed off the court and disbarred.

That’s pretty clearly a defacto admission that the unnamed conspirator is CIAramella, even as literally every democrat has claimed not to know.

The entire focus of the impeachment effort is that Trump had no right to ask for an investigation that might involve the Bidens in Ukraine.

The whistle blower is apparently a Biden protege and held meetings in the White House to coordinate dealing with the Biden Ukraine scandal. The president must be allowed to explore everything that has to do with the Bidens and Ukraine to demonstrate he had a reasonable justification for seeking that investigation.

“Rush said today that Roberts is representing the Democrats and is a known Never Trumper.”

Well, I don’t think there is any doubt that Roberts does not like Trump. The question is: Will Roberts’ animosity towards Trump affect or influence his duties and obligations in his role as impeachment trial “moderator?”

QUESTIONS REPUBLICANS SHOULD BE ASKING DEMOCRATS IN PUBLIC AND ON THE RECORD:

  1. Do you believe the government should be restricted from investigating declared candidates for public office for possible past criminal wrongdoing?

  2. If so, does that restriction apply to local and state governments or only the federal government?

  3. Do you believe that being a declared candidate for public office gives one automatic immunity for past criminal acts?

  4. If so, does that immunity apply to all crimes including extortion, corruption, theft, tax dodging, rape, manslaughter, murder, etc.?

  5. Would the above restrictions and immunity end when the individual is no longer a candidate?

  6. If the candidate is elected would the above restrictions and immunity continue in effect once the individual takes office?

    .

Roberts is running interference for the filthy RATS. Straight away. He is working to keep FACTS about the corruption OUT OF THE RECORD.
