Yes. This whole thing is a mystery to me. It’s not like Bolton was an Obama holder-over, or anything like that. Everyone knew what Bolton was all about. But Trump appointed him anyway.
Maybe Trump is playing some sort of four-dimensional chess game that I just can’t follow.
My take is Trump wants people from different backgrounds and point of views to present their case. Bolton expected Trump to agree with him.
Trump hired Omorosa also. Some of his hiring decisions have been horrendous.
