You might wonder why Joe Biden gets only 3% of the vote but runs for office. Well, it allows him to move the money over to his sister. 3% votes mean one of two things. He is not a good campaigner, didn’t convince anyone to vote for him. Or more likely, he took in a lot of money and spent it on his sister, not the campaign ads. If you gave money to him, you weren’t buying ads and yard signs. You were buying his sisters new car. And I assume it is shared with Joe in some way. The way the Daleys did it in Chicago. Is his brother (Bill) bought the big vacation homes sand kept them up. And Richy (the mayor) used it as his own.

Biden better hope he can coast to the nomination. He doesn’t have a whole lot of extra money compared to Warren, Sanders, and Buttigieg. Steyer can give more money to himself, as can Bloomberg - I don’t necessarily expect those two to catch fire though.
