My one concern is that the person who leaked information about Bolton’s book might have been lying... and Bolton doesn’t have official clearance on the book so he might not be able to comment.

Democrats did basically the same thing when the little Schiffs made up the story about Trump’s conversation. Trump released the speech... so it was cleared up. What if they’re lying about what Bolton wrote?

“I thought BOlton was a smarmy SOB...but I might be slightly swayed because he LOOKS like a smarmy SOB.”

Never liked the guy. Always wanted to get us into endless wars.

I remember seeing him being interviewed on Fox. War Hawk x 1000

Could you tell us about your efforts to talk President Trump out of doing that National Security Advisor Bolton?

Do you think a foreign company paying millions of dollars to the son of the Obama’s administration’s point man on Ukraine for a reason not in the interest of the American people should be swept under the rug National Security Advisor Bolton?

I don’t know if Bolton’s a “snake” ... but he’s long been begging for a custom made straightjacket.

His actions do not surprise me.

From day one, the minute the phone call was announced, I felt Bolton was heavily involved and tied in with the whistleblower, still think so. During the house impeachment sham, it was rather clear that Vindman was involved with the whistleblower and now we are finding that Vindmans brother was vetting Bolton’s book.

“Well, the answer is simple: Bolton wanted war with Iran.”

That’s the difference between me and Bolton. I don’t want war with Iran. I just want to nuke them.

Yes, I made several posts thinking Bolton was the whistleblower but you show the connection between all of them.

Bolton is a vindicative SOB . He got fired. And he wanted payback

Tucker’s still mourning the loss of Soleimani, I see.

I respect Trump, but he seems to have himself hired a lot of deep state agents (or just arrogant swamp creatures) who are quite willing and ready to stab him in the back.

Yes, I know it happens to all GOP Presidents, but I thought Trump was smarter than that.

I am disappointed about this. Not sure yet that Bolton will unload anti-Trump stuff. Always liked Bolton for his hawkish stance. Not ready to condemn him until all the FACTS are out.

Well said RC. I don’t see how anyone could have read your post #5 as anything different than how you stated it.

I do not completely trust Tucker, maybe because he was always part of the “conservative” intelligentsia . Also, he doesn’t really say why he thinks Bolton is a snake, which I assume means untrustworthy.

“Always liked Bolton for his hawkish stance.”

I always disliked him for his hawkish stance. As Trump says, the war in Iraq was the one of the biggest US mistakes in history of foreign policy. Trillions of dollars wasted, four thousand American lives, thousands of American amputees, half a million Iraqis dead, and it left total chaos in Iraq. The big winner: Iran, and the Christian-hating jihadis that were let loose when Saddam was killed.

And the arrogant idiot Bolton was a huge supporter of that war - and more wars to follow. So glad Trump fired him, and he’s exposing himself to others who were once fooled by him.

“Also, he doesn’t really say why he thinks Bolton is a snake,”

You have to read the whole column. He says Bolton joined the administration to hijak it for Bolton’s pro-war agenda, and Trump fired him for acting like the president and trying to impose that agenda on Trump.

Sounds like you’re mourning the firing of Bolton.
