To writer Joel Pollak. The Senate Internal Security Subcom, Sen. Judiciary Committee, found the Weather Underground Organization/aka Weathermen, to be a domestic terrorist organization.

Read Larry Grathwohl’s book “Bringing Down America” if you want an insider’s report, plus his SISS testimony about the WUO. He was the FBI’s top inside operative in the WUO. I had peripheral contact with the budding WUO just before they when berserk in Chicago, 1969. Met a number of their leaders. Some were outright batshit crazy. Others, like Mark Rudd, played it cool and cagey, esp. on college campuses.
FYI: He is one Marxist radical who is responsible for the growth of communism/Marxism in New Mexico, where he set up an organization roughly entitled The Southwest Project, which may have become the SW Voters Project later on.
Oh, I did see Kathy Boudin and Bill Ayers at a major communist front operation. Ayers was and still is a nasty psychopath, while Dorn, his wife, Bernadine Dohrn, played it cool despite the fact that she too was a psychopath.
Re Impala64ssa (a great car); Leonard Boudin, Kathy Boudin’s father, was identified as a secret member of the Communist Party USA (citation, a rare footnote in a Sen. hearing on Passport issues, about 1952 or so). He was also one of the CPUSA’s top defense lawyers, a leader of their early legal front, the National Lawyers Guild, a key lawyer in almost every lawsuit against internal security laws, organizations, and Vietnam war powers. He’s in a book entitled “Radical Lawyers”, selected articles by the top red legal beagles and their apprentices.

“In light of the number of pro-Communist associations and activities of the Plaintiff over a lengthy period of time, including reliable reports as late as 1950 of actual membership in the Communist Party, I consider that these associations and activities, coupled with the Plantiff’s refusal to state under oath whether or not he has been a member of the communist Party prior to June 3, 1954, when he last received a passport, warranted me in concluding that (Italics - “he was still a supporter of the Communist movement”) and should be denied continued passport facilities under the established policy of Secretaries of State in recent years of refusing passports to supporters of the Communist movement.

There you have it folks. A very rare citation of Leonard Boudin, communist lawyer and father of Kathy Boudin, as a secret member of the Communist Party USA (and I would say, also a KGB asset due to his travels to communist countries and international front operations).
