Her father was a hugely famous businessman in the UK.

I told a friend from England who her father was and he said that must be wrong. Must be a different Maxwell. It was too crazy to consider. He was flabbergasted that it was true.

Robert Maxwell was a hugely famous crook. He got away with it for so long because he had an army of barristers that would hound anybody that would say the least negative thing about him, let alone any investigative journalist.

The UK has exceptionally strict libel and slander laws.

I always that his “missing, presumed drowned” death was a cover for him to live out the remainder of his sunset years in luxury in Israel, rather than one of HM prison cells.
