Lindsey Graham will open an investigation before the Senate Judiciary Committee into corruption in Ukraine the day after he returns from his honeymoon.
Linda makes promises he never keeps.
If Dershowitz and Starr have good presentations, why not have a Senator put forward a motion to dismiss on the basis that the impeachment process in the House and the charges presented are as a matter of law fatally flawed? If so, this could be over tomorrow.
It’s worth noting that prior to his board position at Burisma, Hunter Biden was on the board of Amtrak, a position that he obtained through a an appointment by president GW Bush, and approved by congress knowing his only qualification for that role was being a frequent train rider and the son of a Senator who has for decades propped up Amtrak. It’s also worth noting that he was approved to that position with that absurdly thin resume unanimously.
Show me a senator with the courage to actually say those things out loud and then seek passage of legislation to prevent the next politician’s (or lobbyist or donor)’s relative from slipping into these positions and maybe I’ll find some faith restored.
Yup, this is what I have suggested for weeks.
