Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has had enough of the impeachment trial by the time it got to the first dinner break in President Trump’s impeachment trial Tuesday night.
“God help us if we have to listen to [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff, D-Calif., prattle on for 24 hours, non-stop,” lamented Cruz in the Senate subway terminal.
This is the balancing act for the Democrats. Schiff is the face of the Democrats’ impeachment effort. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., handpicked Schiff to be the lead impeachment manager to present the House’s case to the Senate, leapfrogging House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y.

Do you reality need to take days to make an “overwhelming” case?
As the Bard famously remonstrated, “brevity is the soul of wit”.
The irony is Schiffhead unintentionally is making the President’s case for him. Go figure.
Between Schiff and Nadler, hard to say who has been more of a disaster fot the Democrats.

Marxine Waters should have been the lead impeachment manager. She for the most part invented Trump impeachment around November 2016. It’s racist not to have her be the lead here.

Finally found an accurate readout of TV viewers of the impeachment hearings from Reuters. The number of TV viewers dropped 11% from the first day down to a paltry 8,000,000 out of a potential audience of 330,000,000, Americans. Be the third day only 5,000,000 Americans tuned in on TV!!!
Looks like Pelsoi, Schumer, Schiff, Nalder, etc, ain’t gonna come close to making the “Hit Parade”. Boy that Democrat Lap Dog Media is silent on those horrible TV ratings!!!
Fact is; a vast majority of the American people want this Democrat Party farce over and done with, right now!!!
House Democrats problem is Americans don’t care.
Republicans aren’t going to face voter reprisals if they just vote to acquit the President.
They probably have figured that out already and in six months it will be all forgotten.
Its not a winning issue for the Democrats.
Likely have a bigger foreign reporter travel budget so more foreign news stories which fox never covered.
Outcome 2: The Democrat Party will continue this as long as the party faithful are willing to pay for it to keep going. This is now solely a fundraising and publicity blitz marathon paid with our tax dollars. After this farce finishes, we KNOW (by their own admissions) that they will try, try again.
