That’s actually NOT his point. He would say that is at the end game, not where VA is now. The British attempt to seize arms there was preceded by numerous other acts.

He writes about how an insurgency takes resistance action to provoke the State to overreach and over react. Then you get to the end game, and the State has acted in a way to incite a broad swath of the population.

He writes good fiction. If you read his book Indian Country, you will see his ‘stay calm and resist’ plan for a resistance insurgency go live/hot, in a fictional town in southern Indiana.
