I could be wrong but it appears that the WH has been very strategist in releasing FOIA documents with an eye to what will buttress the president’s defense. These particular documents could have been held until a later release date but were released at the most opportune time for the trial.
Also, I believe that the defense has been working for over a year putting together documents that might be useful in a potential impeachment trial and once the Ukraine farce came up they went into high gear collecting documents that would be useful in defeating any articles of impeachment.
If PDJT is able to destroy the house Dems in this trial I don’t see the Dems trying this again anytime in the next 20+ years.
That would be good. But the damage has been done.
This might referred to as attrition and all part of the cycle of a nation or empire. There are indeed phases and one of the last phases is that corruption becomes rampant and out of control.
