I read here (Spanish Minister) that a Spanish government official is worried that Spain needs eight or nine million immigrants to keep the country from diving into a demographic tailspin......The conventional wisdom is to bring in African and Middle Eastern migrants by the shipload. Of course, there is opposition from hateful, ignorant Spanish citizens who whine about the inevitable disappearance of European culture from large swaths of the country.....
What a thorny problem. Where can Spain get its hands on millions of migrants? Those bureaucrats must be saved. Where, oh, where?

There is a problem. Many mestizos hate gachupines (Spaniards). This hatred dates from the time of the conquista.
It’s not a tongue in cheek solution, it’s a real and viable solution.
The “hispanics” who have invaded (yes, that’s an accurate description of what they have been doing) over the past 45 years are virtually ALL descendants of Spain. Very few are “indigenous” and it doesn’t matter anyway, they were never indigenous to North America.
So they can go home to Spain.
Or at least be offered the possibility.
Because when they refuse, the mask will be off: all the tripe about “we are just poor eemeegrants hoping to be free” will be exposed for the lie that it is.
Most ARE poor but they aren’t looking for “freedom” from their home countries or cultures, they’re just looking for a better payday.
And the Mexicans have an extra axe to grind: they are told we “took” the land from them, so it’s really theirs: all the big cities with the nice roads, the skyscrapers, the airports, the factories, the power plants, indoor plumbing, irrigation for plentiful crops, etc etc ad nauseum.
They are just Spaniards who are upset and jealous that the land the Pope declared to be Spain in 1495 turned out to be worth far more then they thought during the 300 years when they sat on their butts in the center of Mexico and did nothing with it.
So it makes great sense to re-direct them to their actual Motherland: lets see how “welcoming” the arrogant Spanish are when we send all of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and the entire Mexican Mestizo nation to take up residence in the slums of Madrid and Barcelona (which really aren’t that bad and their “slums” are far nicer then most of Mexico City).
Those would be the same Spanish demanding that the U.S. take in their Companeros. And why do they do that?
Because they know they swindle the stupid Gringos into handing over cash which inevitably finds it’s way into their pockets. Spain still finances and runs Mexico, no matter what anyone thinks. The Caudillos of Mexico are Spaniards to the bone.

No reason to hand over the “Indispensable Nation” to the worst people on the planet, just because they have a grudge against their half cousins who own all the property in Old Mexico and have no intention of sharing a bit of it with Los Gusanos.

WE could give Puerto Rico to Spain. Shorter flight.
They already speak Spanish...but will have to learn to pronounce “cinco” as “thinko” and “Zaragoza” as “Tharagotha.”
Before the Spanish-American War, Cuba had rebelled repeatedly against Spanish rule, but I think Puerto Rico had been quite peaceful. The US took it in the peace treaty mainly because of its geographical situation on one of the approaches to the planned Panama Canal. Maybe we were afraid some other country would take it from Spain if we did not.

You could even argue, with the exception of some native American blood, they are RETURNING to their homeland!
Spain as all of Western Europe has a demographic problem of reduced birth rates in its local population. This a function of economics and superior birth control. The local populace does not want to have many children due to the economic burden it places on the family. Europe is dying.
The solution is very simple. Give the local populace financial incentives to have children. Give them say 20k for each child born and tax relief for such. Third world immigrants on welfare have zero incentive to not have children as they are a cash crop for them via the state welfare.
The third world immigrants are a negative in relationship to tax revenues. They take vast amounts of tax revenues via welfare and social services. They are a negative.
The citizens of Spain and other nations in Western Europe are making logical decisions based on financial decisions. Change the finances of having children and the problem will be solved.
