Supporting socialism in the United States is the ultimate in America-first elitism. Other than the typical democrat/left racism, what other explanation could there be for Bernie, Liz Warren, and the rest of our socialists believing that we can do socialism better than Russia, China, Yugoslavia, Poland, North Korea, Vietnam, Yemen, Somalia, Czechoslovakia, Congo, Ethiopia, Angola, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Cuba, and Laos?
Only a bigoted racist would believe we are better people than the ones who failed with socialism/communism in so many countries.
People do not support socialism because they think it will work. The support socialism because they are dark and evil and want destruction.
Only ignorant wannabe dictators and depots like Warren and Sanders would believe we are better people than the ones who failed with socialism/communism in every country who has tried it in the history of the planet.
There is not one example of socialism or communism that has been successful anywhere in the entire history of the world.
These economic systems have failed every singe time they have been tried.
According to famed economist Milton Friedman, "In the only cases in recorded history where the masses have been able to escape grinding poverty is where they have had capitalism and free trade. History is absolutely clear, that there is no alternative way so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people, that can hold a candle to the productive activities unleashed by the free enterprise capitalist system."
And yet capitalism is considered evil by these same people who push socialism and communism.
