This whole he shot forst thing is a non starter.

He had a gun pulled on him and the guy holding it was going to shoot him.

Its a total bs argument offered up by someone who thinks they are making a big point here.

Huh? I don't think you have a full grasp on what the "Han shot first" thing is all about. In the original Star Wars, Greedo never fired his weapon at all. He was going to take Han in to Jabba the Hut and had Han at gunpoint, so Han blasted him under the table.

In one of the "remastered" versions of the original Star Wars, Lucas added in the effect of having Greedo fire his gun at Han just before Han fired his, thereby making it look like Han shot in self defense. The whole "Han shot first" thing is a rejection of that revisionist BS, although it would be more correct to say that Han was the only one who fired.
