Russia may have been able to fight Germany to a standstill all by itself. America, Britain, France and all the rest of the allies could not have done that.
Its an indisputable fact. Neither good nor bad, just a fact.
Yeah, America could have. We had twice their population, inexhaustible resources, a moral base, production capacity that Germany could never dream of. Germany is also thankfully blessed with horrible geography.
Thank god the Russians killed something like 7 of every 9 German soldiers. But Germany never had the ability to defeat the USA. And without Russia, the war would have had a different course, but we would have prevailed.
That is no fact at all. The Russians were set up to win by the Allies doing and providing everything for them, including allowing them to fight a one front war. The Russians were at the brink of defeat because of their leader, Stalin, who was a Nazi collaborationist, and had many more Russians before the war, then died in the war.
You did not answer. I am from the U.S. state of California. What Oblast are you from?
Russia would have fallen eventually, without the MASSIVE amounts of supplies, vehicles, and weapons that US industry supplied them with. Communism was an economic disaster for every country which adopted it.
Once US industry started cranking out massive production of planes, tanks, and ships, the Axis was doomed.
