Partner, we never trusted Mittens Romney after all the verbal assaults on President Trump and all were unfounded.

I suspect stronly that Mister Romney plans to run opposing President Trump in the primaries; and after losing major league, will run as an unelectable Indy in the general (out of pure spite).

Romney will, of course, finish lower than last, but if he can succeed at helping to vote-out Trump (who embarrassed him by winning and then being honest and successful), then he's a happy RINO.
