I have an M9 and an M17. The M17 is better. The M9 was no slouch, but the triggers are worlds different. The M17 trigger is far superior to the M9. The M9 was very reliable but the M17 is ridiculously reliable. The M17 allows a 21 round magazine that’s very nice to have.
I think the M17 is a good improvement over the M9.

I think the M17 is a good improvement over the M9. Certainly better than the overpriced FrankenGlock that Glock submitted.

50 rounds on a range, sure. Not in a dirty, dusty environment where the gun can run dry, though.
